Experts recommend to start offering solid food to babies at 4-6 months. Please consult your baby’s pediatrician for details. My 6 month old daughter started eating Japanese”okayu” (rice porridge). You can make your own “okayu” or just get it from any baby store.
First and foremost, you need feeding supplies. We do our shopping at “Akachan Honpo” when buying baby stuff. We bought the Mickey Mouse & Friends Feeding Set and some baby food. I was overwhelmed with the products to choose from, they are selling different varieties to feed your baby…… Nope, they’re not selling Cerelac here.
We are considering to get a booster chair but we ended up buying a high chair for our little one. Getting a food maker is not necessary for us since my mom has a blender at home and also, the feeding set has a masher included.
Being a mother is really the best feeling in the world.
